Types of Aid

Federal Aid

Pell Grant
Available to students with demonstrated financial need.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Available to students with demonstrated financial need.

Subsidized/Unsubsidized Stafford Loans
Available to students enrolled at least half-time.

PLUS Loans (Parent Loan)
Available to parents with students enrolled at least half-time.

State Aid

Florida Academic Scholarship (FAS)
Awarded to students who perform exceptionally well academically and in community service while in high school. Application must be made through a guidance counselor before graduating from high school.

Florida Medallion Scholarship (FMS)
Awarded to students who exhibit high academic achievement while in high school. Application must be made through a guidance counselor before their graduation.

Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG)
Awarded to students with demonstrated financial need. Students with FAFSAs processed by April 15 are given priority.

Institutional Aid

Criteria for Institutional Aid

Servant Scholarship

Available to a first-time freshman or transfer dependent student from a home where the primary financial provider is in full-time, vocational Christian ministry (pastor, associate/assistant pastor, missionary, Christian educator, etc.). A student must also have a demonstrated financial need based on submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Christian Character

Available to a first-time freshman or transfer student exhibiting strong Christian character and dedicated Christian service based on the student’s pastoral recommendation. A student must also have a demonstrated financial need based on submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov in order to be eligible.



Academic Scholarship

Available to a first-time freshman or transfer student meeting one of the following:

  • Valedictorian or Salutatorian in a high school class of at least 8 graduates
  • 75 hours of documented Christian/community service
  • Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov
OR
  • At least a 3.0 weighted high school GPA using all credits listed below
    • 4 credits in English (with 3 credits requiring substantial writing)
    • 4 credits in Mathematics (all credits must be Algebra I and above)
    • 3 credits in Natural Science (with 2 credits requiring a substantial lab)
    • 3 credits in Social Science
    • 2 credit in World Language (must be sequential and in the same language)
  • 75 hours of documented Christian/community service
  • Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov
OR
  • Complete IB high school curriculum
  • Best composite score of 1020 on the SAT or 22 on the ACT
  • 75 hours of documented Christian/community service
  • Submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov
OR
  • GED
  • Best composite score of 1020 on the SAT or 22 on the ACT
  • 75 hours of completed Christian/community service
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Talon Fund

Available to a first-time freshman or transfer student with a demonstrated financial need based on submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.

Recruiting Team Member
Available to any student who auditions for and is accepted for a spot on a Trinity Baptist College traveling recruiting team. An eligible student must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
