Teaming Up to Impact the Community

TBC Alumni Church Planter and TBC Basketball Programs team up for Basketball Camp in Springfield!

On Saturday, March 26, TBC basketball players participated in two free basketball clinics for children. The NCCAA Sports Clinic was held in Palm Coast, FL and the 360 Church Clinic was held at the Boys and Girls club in downtown Springfield in Jacksonville, FL.

TBC players and coaches divided up so that they could cover both events and double their impact.

360 Church is a church plant led by TBC alumnus Paul Scott.

Over 20 children learned valuable basketball skills at the clinic, received free team photos and T-shirts, had a great meal donated by Chic-Fil-A, and heard a challenge from special guest speaker Super Bowl Championship XXXV Championship Coach Paul McCord. Paul Scott followed up McCord’s challenge by sharing about Jesus to the campers.

TBC student-athletes loved the experience of volunteering their time to use the platform of basketball to share God’s love with others.
