Full Circle Moments
It is a special moment when TBC alumni return to their alma mater, no matter how short the visit.
However, it is an especially humbling and encouraging day when an alumnus chooses to serve and contribute to the next generation of students by joining the faculty and staff of TBC.
Graduates of TBC can be found all across the nation – even the globe; each one making an impact in their own corner of the world. Whether through their careers, their ministries, or their personal lives, it is TBC’s greatest desire to see them succeed through the values and training they received here.
It is precisely because TBC alumni can serve anywhere, and in any capacity, that it is so rewarding when they choose to do so at their alma mater!
When alumni invest their own careers into shaping the future of the institution and its students, it speaks volumes about their belief in the college’s mission to train Christian men and women for life and ministry.
We are reminded that the work of training and equipping believers does not end at graduation. Rather, it continues in new, exciting ways as alumni help to guide and mentor the next generation. Their return is both a gift and a calling—one that enriches the TBC community and strengthens its mission to Prepare Christian Men and Women for Life and Ministry.
At TBC, we are deeply grateful for those alumni who have returned to serve as faculty or staff. At present, 11 alumni are full-time faculty and staff, with over a dozen more in part-time or adjunct positions. Their presence on campus is not only a blessing but also a reminder of the powerful impact of a Christian education. Their contributions are vital to the ongoing mission of TBC and inspire all of us to continue training the next generation of leaders to make a difference in the world.

Here is what a few of of out TBC alumni faculty and staff had to say about working at their alma mater:
I have been working full-time for almost five years and have really appreciated the consideration the administration has towards work-life balance. As a working mom, family comes first, and TBC has made my aspirations a reality by working with my needs as a new mom. – Hannah Cason
I consider it a great blessing to work in an environment where I am surrounded by individuals who are committed to following the Lord. Upon first coming to TBC in 2011, I could not have imagined that the Lord would use the opportunities and people on this campus to guide me into a career (or more accurately, a ministry) at a place that means so much. Unbeknownst to me at the time, the Lord would move in ways only He could, to significantly shape who I am today. It is both a privilege and a joy to play a role in the work the Lord is doing through TBC. – Seth Gray
TBC’s faculty always saw more in me than I saw in myself. Now, I get to be a part of the growth of the school and “pay it forward” to future students just like my teachers did for me. – Rebecca Whitley
