Thankful for a Successful 2020-2021

TBC is immeasurably grateful to the Lord for the ability to maintain an open, in-person campus this year.

We are keenly aware of how unusual this scenario is, and we attribute it to God’s graciousness that this has been our reality.

The end of April and beginning of May is always a blur of activity on the TBC campus.  Between finals, teacher appreciation week, and graduation, everyone is neck-deep in excitement and/or stress.

Student Leadership put together several days of lunches for professors and a few other small tokens of appreciation… including a Spirit Rock makeover in honor of the occasion.

You never know what you’ll see at Food for Finals.

The groups that come through are an interesting mix of sleepy eyes and bedhead, nervous crammers who have been up all night and are hopped up on Mountain Dew, and those giving final presentations and therefore dressed in office-formal attire, complete with bow ties or heels.  Each comes with varying levels of nervous excitement and dread. The seniors are typically the ones with a grin on their face – they see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Celebrating graduation on time was so refreshing!

Commencement was a ticketed event in efforts to maintain extra spacing between guests.   With a total of 73 graduates from our associates, bachelor’s, and master’s programs, we had a full auditorium.  Graduates and guests alike were challenged and encouraged by the commencement address given by Scott Rideout, president of Converge International.

To our faculty and staff:

Thank you!  We cannot say it enough.  The work load you have shouldered is immense, and we pray that this summer will be refreshing to you and your families.

To our returning students:

Keep the faith!  Enjoy your time away from classes and we will look for you in the fall.  It will be here before you know it!

To our newest alumni:

You did it — Congratulations! You held true to the #PUSHforward theme for the 2020-21 academic year and made it to graduation!  We are so proud of you and the efforts you have made to reach this milestone. May you follow God’s leading for your next steps.  Please check in from time to time – we love to hear from you!

  • I am truly blessed to be able to be able to come to trinity for the fall and spring semester. God has been working in my life and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for me. I can’t wait to come back for the 2021-22 school year
