Mrs. Buckner earned her B.S. at Liberty university in 2011, her M.A. from Liberty University in 2013, Her Post Masters Certification from North Central University in 2017 and is now in the process of earning her PHD from Liberty University and her certification in Mental health from Light University.

Mrs. Buckner is involved in Bible studies, mentoring and counseling young women. She is married, has two children and three grandchildren. She loves to read, cook, spend time with family and friends, and diamond paint.

Dr. Buckner earned his B.S. at Middle Tennessee State University in 1980, his M.A. from Central Oklahoma in 1987, his M.A. and M.Div. from Liberty University in 2006 and 2007 respectively, and his Ed.D. from Argosy University. For 21 years prior to joining the staff at Trinity, Dr. Buckner served in the United States Army. Dr. Buckner works as a counselor in a variety of contexts, while teaching behavioral studies at TBC.

In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Buckner is heavily involved in church ministries and has experience in Sunday School ministries, youth ministries, singles, couples, and media ministry. He and his wife Carol have two children. In his free time, Dr. Buckner enjoys reading and watching sports.

Mr. Luke Collier brings to TBC his experience as a Speech Instructor and Academic Advisor. In addition to his graduate work, Mr. Collier has performed in several stage productions and designed, directed, and produced his own full-length play.

As an empathic communicator experienced in public speaking, speech instruction,
academic advising, and theatrics, Mr. Collier is passionate about instructing students in clear
communication from a biblical worldview.

Dr. Crawford has over 20 years of classroom experience in the undergraduate through graduate levels. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Crawford is an exceptional pianist, arranger and master teacher. He is a member of the Music Teachers National Association. He has experience as a church pianist in both small and large churches and has been featured as a performer on national television.

Dr. Jacob Leporacci has taught at TBC since 2006 and holds a Master’s degree in Church Music from Pensacola Theological Seminary and a doctorate in worship theology from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies.

He serves as the Chair of the Biblical Studies Department and teaches in the Worship Arts program. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Leporacci also oversees the planning of weekly chapels and the campus band.

Dr. Leporacci is an accomplished pianist, gifted singer, and talented arranger. He has served as a worship leader and has conducted choir clinics and piano workshops in several cities throughout the United States, including New York, San Diego, and Washington D.C.

Dr. Leporacci and his wife Maylynn, who also serves as professor of vocal studies in the worship arts program, own Leporacci Music Ministries (www.leporaccimusic.com), and travel extensively as worship leaders, in frequent demand in various venues and churches throughout the country.

Dr. Lucy is a native of Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Kyle Tadlock is originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He earned his B.A. in History and Classics from the University of Mississippi in 2006, a Master’s in History from North Carolina State University in 2012, and a Ph.D. in Ancient History from The Ohio State University in 2018. His next goal is to earn a knighthood, although he is hazy on the details of how to accomplish that.

Although he loves learning about all periods and areas of history, his main focus is ancient Greek and Roman history. More particularly, he enjoys examining mercenaries and the dynamics between warfare, politics, and culture which they tended to disrupt. Mercenaries are an interesting and timeless phenomenon and focusing on them permits him to follow his historical interests across a wide chronological and geographic range, including the ancient Near East and medieval Europe.

Dr. Tadlock is married to a very patient and loving wife and has three children. When he is not working or spending time with his family, he enjoys reading and playing video games. Dr. Tadlock generally does not like talking about himself, unless it is in the third person.

Mrs. Whitley grew up on the mission field of Zambia with her parents. She moved back to the US in 2010 to attend college at Word of Life Bible Institute and later on Trinity Baptist College. After graduation, she immediately began teaching composition as Trinity while going on to complete her Masters of Education in English through Liberty University. Her passions include teaching English both here and abroad and discipling college girls.

Dr. Williams brings practical, local church ministry experience to his teaching. Dr. Williams earned an undergraduate degree in Music from Jacksonville University. He then earned a Master of Theology in Church Ministry and Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Philosophy in Historical and Theological Studies from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Williams' research covers a variety of disciplines, including history, music, and theology and their interaction with modern day culture. He also serves as a reserve chaplain (Major) in the Florida Air National Guard. He strives to use every resource at his disposal to help students and believers deepen their walk with God.

Gary moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1986 to attend Trinity Baptist College. He has been on staff at Trinity since 1990, where he has been employed with both the college and church ministries. He served as Director of Operations and then CFO from 1990 – 2006, where he oversaw the entire business area of Trinity Baptist Church, Trinity Baptist College and Trinity Christian Academy. In 2006, Gary became an Executive Pastor and continues to serve in that role today.

He and his wife, Erika, were married in 1991. They have three sons, Austin, Colby and Curtis.

Born in Batavia, New York, Dr. Pietrylo has served for over 30 years in pastoral ministry in Jacksonville, Florida. He has served as a staff pastor, church planter, and senior pastor. In 2018, he completed his doctoral degree at Liberty University. He has an extensive background in church mergers which was the topic is his doctorate dissertation.

In addition to being a part of the college faculty, Dr. Pietrylo also serves as the Pastor of Church Networks at Trinity Baptist Church. He is a member of the church planting team of First Coast Churches and is a board member of Church Planting America. He also is a church planting coach for Converge and NAMB.

Dr. Pietrylo served has the alumni president of Trinity Baptist College (1994-1998) and was named in 1998, “Alumnus of the Year.” Both he and his wife Lane, are graduates of Trinity Baptist College and have three children: Andrew, Karen, and John.

Dr. David Thompson earned his B.A. at Clearwater Christian College from 1971-75, but he didn't stop there! Dr. Thompson went on to earn an M.Div. from Biblical Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Dallas Theological Seminary. While completing his graduate studies, Dr. Thompson served as a pastor in New York. He later took a position as a missionary pastor of a church in the Cayman Islands where he worked for 14 years. Combined, Dr. Thompson has over 25 years of pastoral ministry experience. In 1997 he took a position as Adjunct Professor at Practical Bible College. Then in 2003, Dr. Thompson joined the faculty at TBC as Professor of Bible and Missions where he remains today teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Dr. Thompson was married in 1975 to Judith and they have 5 children. He has been the pastor of the following churches:
North Shore Baptist Church in Bayside, New York City, Stake Bay Baptist Church in Stake Bay, Cayman Brac of the Cayman Islands, and South Appalachian Baptist Church in Appalachian, New York. His hobbies include reading, working in the yard, and sports.

Keith was born and raised in a missionary home in Germany. He moved to Jacksonville in 2015 where, three years later, he graduated from TBC with a degree in Business Management and Ethics.

After a year working with TBC’s Admissions Team, Keith moved to California with his wife, Nancy, and earned a Master of Arts in Philosophy at Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology. In 2023, he returned to Trinity where he is involved with student life and teaches courses on Christian Worldview and Philosophy.

Keith is passionate about helping people think well and about performing sleight-of-hand magic tricks. His favorite sports teams are 1. F.C. Kaiserslautern and Germany’s national soccer team.

Dr. Valerie Riley began her education by receiving a B.A. in Jewish Studies from Moody Bible Institute. Following graduation, she worked as a missionary to Jewish people in Minneapolis/St. Paul for three years. Dr. Riley was raised in a Christian home, attended Christian school from seventh through twelfth grade, graduated from a Bible college and worked as a missionary. However, in December of 1977, she realized that she had never truly accepted Christ as her Savior. Once that had been settled, other decisions remained. She determined that God had not called her into Jewish missions and she resigned from her mission board.

After working at First Baptist School of Rosemount, MN for several years, she felt led to pursue a master’s degree in special education, which required completing an accredited B.A. degree at Cedarville College in Cedarville, Ohio. As she was working on her M. A. at the University of Minnesota, she felt God leading her to obtain a Ph.D. She had been working for several years as a learning disabilities tutor and began developing a learning disabilities program at the school. She saw the need for Christian teachers to work with children with learning disabilities and felt that obtaining a Ph.D. was the first step in that process. She worked at First Baptist School for 25 years before coming to Trinity.

The demand for qualified people to work in Christian schools with learning disabled children is increasing, and she is excited about the opportunity to assist teachers in obtaining the training they need.
