TBC launches OneCOP Criminal Justice Scholarship Program
Trinity Baptist College partnered with OneCOP and JSO to launch a new scholarship program.
This scholarship is designed to equip Jacksonville residents for community-engaging criminal justice careers.
Trinity Baptist College came alongside OneCOP’s and JSO’s initiative that facilitates positive, ongoing partnerships between local law enforcement agencies and houses of worship in the Jacksonville community by launching a new scholarship program.
The new scholarship program enables JSO officers to nominate students from houses of worship that participate in the OneCOP initiative, for scholarships that can be used upon acceptance and enrollment into TBC’s Criminal Justice program. The hope is to encourage future community-engaging criminal justice careers for Jacksonville residents.
By equipping JSO officers with the ability to nominate students for these scholarships, TBC hopes to strengthen partnerships between local law enforcement and the houses of worship that are facilitating the OneCOP initiative.
By providing Jacksonville residents with Criminal Justice education opportunities, TBC hopes to equip graduates who can return to their communities and facilitate deep community partnerships and mutual understanding for future generations and in the spirit of the OneCOP initiative.
Trinity Baptist College is an accredited, Private, Christian Liberal Arts college in Jacksonville, Florida with a residential campus that teaches from a Christian worldview.
